It’s been a great start to the holiday season at CWSC!
Our annual Christmas dinner and dance on December 2nd was a super success, with over sixty people enjoying good food and prizes and dancing to music by our very own Wray Sisk.
This past Monday, at the CWSC lesson, we had an opportunity to wrap up all the presents for the five foster kids our club sponsored this year. Thank you for all the donations, and thanks to Brenda Shugart, Faye Chapman, and Cheryl Bishop for buying and fulfilling each child’s wish list. Several members wrapped and others participated in Wray’s Triple 2 lesson, to be continued each Monday in December. We had a yummy potluck dinner after the lesson as well.
Next up for our club is the annual trip to Gatlinburg on January 30-February 2. We are about half full for the 12 BR, 13 Bath chalet. It’s a luxurious place complete with a hot tub, pool room, and theatre room, and each room has an en-suite bath. No rustic cabin in the woods, for sure! If you need more info, please text or call me. It’s a great weekend I never miss.
Wishing everyone a safe and warm holiday season and hope to see you for Triple 2 on Monday.

CWSC DANCE LESSONS
Monday night dance lessons are at Mega Events Hall, 6025 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, 30092. Classes are from 7:30 to 9:30, and doors open at 7:15.
Mega Events is behind Kettlerock Brewing (where Nemoe’s used to be). Drive around to the back; there is plenty of parking in a lighted lot.
Lessons are taught on a rotating basis for 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the dance, and include Two Step, West Coast Swing, Night Club, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, and Waltz. The first night of any lesson series is “Bring a Friend Night.” Any friend of a member will get in free if accompanied by that member.
