CWSC DANCE LESSONS
Monday night dance lessons are at Mega Events Hall, 6025 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, 30092. Classes are from 7:30 to 9:30, and doors open at 7:15.
Mega Events is behind Kettlerock Brewing (where Nemoe’s used to be). Park in the front or drive around to the back; there is plenty of parking in either lighted lot.
Lessons are taught on a rotating basis for 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the dance, and include Two Step, West Coast Swing, Night Club, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, Waltz, and Triple 2. The first night of any lesson series is “Bring a Friend Night.” Any friend of a member will get in free if accompanied by that member.

BRING A FRIEND NIGHT
On the first night of each new lesson series, friends get in free to the Monday night class if accompanied by a club member. The friend doesn’t have to join the club; they can just come and have fun with us. But for every friend who joins that night or the following week, both the friend and the member who brought them will be eligible for one free month of membership. Existing members would receive the free month’s dues the following month. Their friend would receive the free month’s dues after 6 (six) months of continuous enrollment in the club.
CWSC ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The Club holds an annual meeting in June to discuss the previous year’s activities and elect the Club’s board members for the coming year. This year’s meeting is on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 7:30 PM, at The Mega Event Hall. The meeting is essential as the newly elected board members will direct the Club until June next year. Two directors, one secretary, and one treasurer will be on the ballot. Please plan to attend so that your voice is heard.
A vote is held for the following positions:
Two Directors: Shall assist in the oversight of all business transactions of the Club.
One Secretary: Shall keep accurate and permanent records of all club meetings and proceedings.
One Treasurer: Shall keep accurate and permanent records of all club finances.
Volunteers for the following committees are also needed:
Historian: Keeps a scrapbook of notable club happenings and events.
Instruction: Teaches Monday night classes or arranges substitute instructors.
Music: Plays music at designated club activities and maintains the Club’s electronic equipment.
Social: Organizes and executes social events.
Sunshine: Represents the Club to the general membership during life events.
